Our Passion: to see a church-planting movement 
sweep through Bashkortostan! 

We will see the vision become reality through the development of a global prayer and advocacy strategy, massive sowing of the gospel through every possible means, the  mobilization of further personnel and resources, and the eventual planting of new self-supporting, reproducing, propagating churches.

Our end-vision is to see  an indigenous, self-supporting, and reproducible church-planting movement which has saturated all the peoples of Bashkortostan.

We are seeking to have at least 1000 committed prayer partners.

Our rationale: Believing that the chief end of all creation is to glorify God, we want to partner with God to bring glory to Himself through the ignition of a church-planting movement among the peoples of Bashkortostan.

An Overview of the the Field

4.125 million inhabitants

  • Russians: 1,613,265

  • Bashkiris/Tatars: 2,310,000

  • Other ethnicities: 201,735 (Chuvash, Udmurt, Mar, Ukrainian, etc)

  • 6000 known evangelical believers (as of 12/2000)

  • 8000 known evangelical believers (as of 6/2004)

  • 112+ nationalities living in Bashkortostan

  • 22 cities, 40 towns, 4675 villages

  • Evangelical presence in the Republic since c.1750-1800.

Our Goals

  • to develop & implement a global prayer and advocacy strategy on behalf of the peoples of B-stan;

  • to totally saturate/evangelize Bashkortostan with the gospel through whatever means possible;

  • to mobilize further personnel support and resource support;

  • to plant  indigenous churches which will be self-supporting & self-reproducing; a key element of of which will be training/mentoring of indigenous church planters and churches planting churches, and to also evaluate the entire master plan at regular intervals.
