     Pray for two short term mission teams from South Carolina that will be in Ufa in the first half of June. Among other things, they will be visiting orphanages, training English teachers, distributing Bibles, prayer walking, and sharing their faith. Pray that the Lord might bless their faithfulness in coming with spiritual fruit that will last long after they are gone. Pray that as the result of their being on mission with God, at least one new church might be started in the mega-city of Ufa.  

    Pray for Grace Church, a new church plant in the Television Center District of Ufa. Pray that the Lord might sustain them and not only enable them to survive, but to grow both numerically and spiritually. The church currently averages about 12 in worship. Pray that this church, though small, might be mightily used of God to reap a harvest of souls in the Television Center District of this mega-city, leaving the spiritual climate of the district changed forever.  

   Pray for the Sipailovo (saPIElavuh) and Nizhegorodka (KNEEzhegarodka) districts of Ufa. Both districts are known for their crime, substance abuse, and resistance to the Gospel message. Russian Baptists have wanted to plant churches in these districts for years, but every effort has failed. Pray that God might withstand the spiritual wickedness in high places in Sipailovo and Nizhegorodka, and miraculously plant congregations there that would become beacons of light in those dark regions, beacons that would forever change Sipailovo and Nizhegorodka, and the tens of thousands of souls that live there.

    Pray for Paul and Carol Schlett, who are visiting Ufa from New York State to prayerfully consider the possibility of joining Team Ufa in the future. The Schletts pastor an inner city church in upper state N.Y. and are exploring opportunities to use Paul's engineering back ground to open doors for ministry to those in the oil and gas industry here. Pray that the Lord might clearly speak to the Schletts hearts and reveal His will for their lives, whether that be to remain in an inner city ministry in the States, or to plant their lives in an incarnation ministry here in Ufa.

     Pray for two Ukranian summer missionaries who will be assisting us in July and August. Prayer that their co-laboring with us might result in souls won and at least one church planted. Pray that they might be able to increase our opportunities to reach children in the Telecenter district of Ufa through Kids Clubs. Ask the Lord to protect them and give them tangible and lasting fruit during their two month sojourn with us.
