Update Praise the Lord with us for His
awesome works and miraculous power! We have just concluded the first-ever
Pioneer Evangelism training conference in the country of Russia. We had
approximately 32 churches
represented in the training, through the participation of 132 individuals,
some from as far away as Vladivostok in the Far East and from Moscow to
the west.
Collectively, the participants shared that the Lord has impressed upon
them to start 181 new bible study groups within the next year as result of
their training.
THIS COMMITMENT MEANS THAT WE NEED YOU TO BE
EARNESTLY PRAYING FOR THE TRAINING TO BE APPLIED & IMPLEMENTED IN COMING
MONTHS!
The Lord overruled the attempts of Satan (on many
fronts) to divert and distract us from receiving God's vision during the
training. Thank the Lord for the faithful giving of Southern Baptists,
which enabled us to provide funds for transportation costs, lodging,
meals, and materials for conference participants.
As a result of the training, our team already has 5 invitations to lead
more "localized" Pioneer Evangelism training conferences for local laity
and leadership who were unable to attend the training here in Ufa this
past week. Pray for us in this endeavour, that the Lord would show His
perfect timing as to our commitments to help lead these training
conferences across a wide swath of Russia.
