1. Pray for Chris Carr as he is taking a group of college students on a mission trip to Ufa, Russia, March 11-19. He is taking 3 OBU students, 6 students/sponsors from Southwestern State Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), and one student from the University of Tennessee-Martin. They are flying out of OKC on Saturday morning (3/11), and will arrive in Moscow on Sunday morning, and reach Ufa early on Monday morning. Please pray for the group’s safe passage, that they will make their connecting flights, and that they will have no lost baggage, and for protection as they sightsee on Sunday in Moscow.

2. Pray for their potential ministry activities: they will be doing apologetics training in a local church, relational and cultural exchange evangelism in the classrooms of hopefully three different universities/institutes, prayer walking one or two parts of Ufa that are without a single evangelical church, distributing Bibles, attending a house church worship service, presenting letters of greeting (from OBU president, Oklahoma governor, Weatherford mayor, SWOSU president, and Shawnee mayor) to their counterparts in Ufa, possibly visiting an orphanage, visiting firemen, and presenting a St. Patrick’s Day evangelistic cultural party at a university.

3. They will need strength from God because they will go two nights without normal sleep. Pray that they will be able to sleep some on the flight to Moscow. Pray that they will bounce back quickly from lack of sleep, for they will sleep for four hours after arriving at the hotel in Ufa Monday morning, but then they will get up, have lunch, and be in classroom ministry all Monday afternoon.
