Find out more about the Carr family on the Team page.
July 19, 2006
Dear Prayer partners---our family is still on track to return to Ufa in late August. However, we have been given 30-day religious work visas instead of for one year. Time and space do not permit me to go into all the details right now. Suffice it to say that we will be having a meeting with gov’t officials within the first few days after our arrival, and we will need to have all our ducks in a row. We don’t want to give away the farm, but we do want to say whatever necessary that would allow us and our team to remain and work openly. I do believe in my heart that we will be able to get new visas after the 30-day ones expire, but I do not have enough facts to know how much longer of a visa the gov’t would extend to us.
Please pray with us and for us as we wind down these last 5 weeks in USA, that---
Regarding the Creative Arts Festival that took place in Ufa earlier this month, we’ve heard that over 200 folks were in attendance at differing times during the three days of activities. We are awaiting some emails of personal testimonies of changed lives and some digital photos to share with you.
Blessings!

Prayer Requests--
1) Team Ufa asks you to pray for the Carr family and their need for another vehicle to finish out their time stateside; the one they have has to be turned back in on July 20. They need to locate another vehicle before Chris Carr must be at a doctoral seminar on July 23.
2) Team Ufa asks you to pray for the Carr family’s visa
situation. They are getting conflicting signals out of Ufa as to how long
their visas will be valid and how they will be registered. Pray for them and
local Ufa believers to have favor with registration officials so that the
work of the Lord will not be hindered.
