Ask the Lord for a vision of Ufa and Bashkortostan to enable you to pray effectively as you join Him in His desire to reach all the peoples of the region.

 

 

Prayer Promise:  

“May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and

sing for joy,  

 

for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth”

(Ps. 67:3-4, NIV).

 

Birthdays:

Timothy Carr – Sept. 15th  (9 years old)

Heather Carr – Sept. 20th (7 years old)

Pray for the volunteer team through the 6th – helping develop media tools for recruitment, mobilization, & to raise awareness of the lostness in Ufa and Bashkortostan.

Remember Peter Zhuk, senior pastor for RBU Churches in B’stan – for God’s vision & leadership for church planting & leadership training.

Pray for Eileen and the Carr children as they adapt to their first weeks of home schooling for the year.

4

Ask the Lord to raise up at least 500 more prayer partners to intercede on behalf of the lost in Ufa and for Team Ufa’s work.

Ask God to help Victor & Susan Bauer with Russian language acquisition, to be effective in commun-icating with the people of Ufa.

Ask God to guide & bless the work of the House of Prayer church in Ufa, the cornerstone of all the Baptist work in Bashkortostan.

Pray for Vic, Susan & Eileen as they start ESL classes again tomorrow & Monday. Saturdays are intermediate and advanced levels.

Ask God to guide Chris while in Prague for training/meetings through the 17th. Pray for the rest of the family as they remain in Ufa.

Pray for Susan Bauer as she seeks to build a relationship with a 78 year old lady in their apartment building.

Pray for new friends made during the summer to be part of the beginner’s ESL classes on Monday evenings.

Pray for open doors for Team Ufa to access the city with volunteer teams through October.

Pray that preparations for the 450th anniversary in Oct. will not restrict the work of Team Ufa in any way.

Lift up Roman & Elvira, hosting a new evangelical Bible study in the Sipailovo district on Friday evenings.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to Roman & Evira’s Bible study tonight.

15

Ask God for a Long-term Student Evangelist/Team Leader for the Russian People Group in Ufa.

Pray for Ufa Baptist Church, the newest church plant, seeking to reach Ufa by sponsoring the Sipailovo district evangelist Bible study.

Thank God for giving Chris Carr the insights needed to lead our work in Ufa and Bashkortostan to encourage Russian Baptists & reach the lost.

Pray for Team Ufa, building a ministry relationship with another university in Ufa for English classes.

Ask for friendships to bloom & bear fruit for God’s Kingdom, and for a Bible study group to start in this new university.

Ask the Lord to raise up some seminary students to work for

2-3 years in sports evangelism, media development, & student evangelism.

Pray for ESL students like Diana, Lida, Anatoli, Vladimir, Alexander, and others who are hearing the Good News in English.

Pray for Victor Boll, preparing a team of business people (Hillcrest Baptist, Pensacola) to find ways to share the gospel in the business sector of Ufa in Oct.

Lift up several Ufa college students who translated for American students in July – Alfina, Anya, Julia, Regina & Elvira.

Pray that these young ladies would respond to the Holy Spirit’s call to salvation. God wants them in His Kingdom.

Pray for Curtis Smith, preparing an ESL team (Eastern Hills Baptist, Albuquerque) for conversational classes in November.

Thank God for the dedication of the Russian Baptist leaders in Ufa, focused on the Gospel despite tremendous barriers.

27

Pray for Grace Church & pastor Zhenya Vasileev – that they will be totally open to the Lord’s leadership in ministering to the lost in Ufa.

Pray for Ola, Stas, Lily, Victor, Susan, Eileen and Chris as they work together leading ESL classes.

29

Pray that ESL students will understand the Good News and profess saving faith in Jesus.
