Baptist to be evangelistic and to be disciplers. |

Bashkortostan begins a 450 year anniversary celebration (today
through Oct. 14th) of Bashkort-Russian cooperation. |

for the B’stan & Ufa government leadership and for Russian president
Putin as he visits Ufa during these days. |

for the RBU churches in B’stan, that they catch the church planting
vision & become intentional in ministry. |

for Roman & Elvira, ministering to teenagers & young adults in the
Sipailovo district. |

for guidance as they lead weekly evangelistic meetings in their
apartment, and for a response to the Gospel from those attending. |

for Persons of Peace to work with Victor & Susan, and for open doors
into the lives & hearts of the people of Ufa. |

Ask
the Lord to pre-pare hearts & take care of logistical details for an
ESL team (Eastern Hills, Albuquerque) Nov. 4-16. |

for favor for Team Ufa as they have contact with various Ufa city
officials, & for openness to the Gospel. |

Pray
for Victor & Susan Bauer, in Prague at the CEE Ebenezer Conference
through the 25th. |

Ask
for good health, learning & under-standing for the Bauer’s to become
better equipped for service. |

for team effectiveness (Hillcrest Baptist, Pensacola), for access to
business students & professors this week. |

that the team be productive in their time with local believers
involved in start-up businesses, for evangelism and ethics. |

that the Hillcrest team will be accepted by government officials as
they work in Ufa through Oct. 27th. |

for Andy & Liz Leininger, leading the Urals & Siberian cluster of
our teams in Russia, & for their health. |

Ask
God to break the bonds of fear among Ufa believers, to live in faith
and be bold in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. |

for the salvation of 5 IWC translators,
that
they would surrender to Christ & become part of a new church start
in Ufa. |

for the Gospel to become clear to ESL students, and that they will
respond to the repentance/salvation message. |
