have a wonderful summer & tell others about Jesus. |

Pray for IMB workers across Russia, dealing with difficult visa &
registration issues, and creating living hardships in country.

for guidance for Chris Carr, meeting with city officials to finalize
ministry sites & activities for the Int. World Changers coming June
22nd. |

Pray
for the ESL participants meeting weekly. Actively involved in
several classes, many are close to being born again. |

Petition for national believers to accept responsibility for
discipling new believers, and to participate in ongoing ESL
ministries. |

Ask
the Lord to raise up helpers for senior pastor Peter Zhuk, carrying
a heavy load directing the work of the RBU in Ufa & Bashkortostan. |

Pray
for Nikki Lutes (IL), serving as a summer student worker through
mid-August. Pray her assignments will fall into place. |

Ask
the Lord to raise up His man to lead the CEE Region in light of
Rodney Hammer’s resignation in early May. Pray for this transition
time. |

Pray
for 6 new believers, recently baptized by Ufa Baptist Church. Pray
they’ll accept respons-ibility for starting new Bible study groups. |

Pray
for Eileen Carr today, with a precious grandmother in ill health in
America. Ask God to surround Eileen with His peace. |

Ask
the Lord to raise up a long-term student worker for the Russian
People Group in Ufa. Pray for open-ness from authorities for this
individual. |

Pray
for an evangel-istic float trip & sum-mer youth camp near Ufa
through the 22nd. The RBU is sponsor & needs qualified
helpers. |

Pray
for physical, spiritual & emotional health for Team Ufa. Spiritual
darkness sur-rounds them, often creating disappoint-ment &
discourage-ment. |

Life
up Victor & Susan Bauer as they prepared to return to Ufa on the 19th.
Ask for timely connections & no hassles with passport control. |

Thank the Lord for the godly pastors & leaders of the 20+ Baptist
churches in Bashkortostan. Pray for unity among both leadership &
their congregations. |

for the removal of unhealthy national-ism & legalism, sapping
evangelistic zeal, distracting church leadership & diverting
attention away from God. |

Lift
up the ICW team, joining Team Ufa June 22nd to do park
cleanup, sports evangelism & orphanage ministry through July 2nd.

for Zhenya Vasileev, pastor of Grace Church, work-ing in a small
business to help support the ministries of the church, reaching out
to those without hope. |

that seekers attending the weekly evangelistic Bible study,
sponsored by Ufa Bible Church, would understand & respond to God’s

up Roman & Elvira, hosting the Tuesday evening Bible study in their
apart-ment. Ask for God’s glory to shine on the work. |

up Andrei & Sergei, that they would lead Ufa Baptist with fervor,
energy & deep insight into the ways of God. |

for Sergei’s wife, Inna, sick with side effects result from medical
treatments due to her former life as a drug addict. |

Pray
for Jim Havlik. Finishing cross-cultural orientation to-day, he’ll
join Team Ufa for sports evangelism, ESL, & English classes in a
local institute. |

Pray
for Marina So., Marina Sh.& Anton (Grace Church), min-istering to
street kids & youth. The work demands long hours and great
patience. |

Summer is hot in Ufa. Pray for refreshing rain to water the small
garden plots (dachas) of believers, giving testimony to the goodness
of God. |

Pray
that “traditional” thinking believers in the RBU churches will be
open to the NT church concepts in Acts to reach the lost. |

Thank God for Team Ufa, & their willing-ness to serve, & for raising
up persons of peace to respond to the good news of Jesus in Ufa &
B’stan. |
