Ask the Lord to grant  favor to the Ufa Team as the Bauer’s & Carr’s prepare for

2008. Pray for health & spiritual growth.

Pray that with the dawn of the New Year across the world, Russian Baptists will be bold with their faith & draw others to Him.

 Prayer Promise:  

“How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them,

they would

outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake I am still with you” (Ps. 139:17-18, NIV).

The Carr’s are outside the country, facing visa renewal issues. Pray for safe travel & favor with Embassy officials.

Ask the Lord to guide the Carr’s & Russian Embassy personnel, that there will be a quick return to Ufa.

Pray that Nathan & Timmy continue to grow in the Lord’s graces & qualities as young followers of Jesus.

Praise the Lord for a quick visa renewal & the Carr’s being able to register today for a full year in Ufa.

Pray for positive results from the recent ESL workshops in Ufa & Ishimbai, led by Eastern Hills, Albuquerque.

Lift up Peter Zhuk, guiding B’stan Baptists through tremendous challenges, both physical & spiritual.

Continue to pray for ongoing ESL classes on Saturdays in the Bauer apartment, that  students will response to the Gospel.

Pray for Sergei Loshak, leading the Ishimbai Baptist Church in follow-up to the ESL workshop.

Continue to lift up Eileen as she home schools the Carr children in difficult, often changing conditions.

Lift up Roman & Elvira, and the evangelistic Bible study group Tuesday evenings in their apartment in the Sipailovo district.

Pray for Heather, Stephen & Seth Carr, that they will under-stand salvation and  ask Jesus into their hearts.

Pray for the health of the Ufa Team, going into the winter season with dangerous travel in ice & snow.

Pray for Victor Bauer, facing passport renewal. Ask God to facilitate the process for His glory.

Ask the Lord to surround Team Ufa with His spiritual armor, as they face spiritual warfare every day.

Pray for guidance in establishing on-going ESL classes in Ishimbai. ESL is a powerful vehicle God can use to draw the lost to Jesus.

Pray for new believer Shamil, working at a new job & trying to share his faith with his family who don’t understand & and are shunning him.

Pray for Chris Carr, seeking God’s guidance concerning topic/theme for his doctoral degree & dissertation.

Ask favor with local visa registration officials, that the Carr’s can stay in Ufa a full year, in spite of new Russian visa rules.

Lift up Marina, Victor & Natasha as they minister to the street kids in Ufa – that these teens would encounter the love of Jesus for their lives.

Pray for Zhenya Vasileev, Zhenya Bragin & Marina Shulmann, using the income of two small businesses to help support church work in Bashkortostan.

Pray for the Russian Baptist believers & their leadership, struggling with theological issues related to Calvinism & Arminianism.

Ask the Lord to give the gift of encourage-ment and mercy to the Baptists & their churches in Ufa and the rest of Bashkortostan.

Ask the Creator to make today extra special for Nathan Carr, age 11.

Pray that Light of Jesus would shine brightly in every country of the world, especially in the hearts of those in Ufa & Bashkortostan.

Pray for good health & safety for key Russian evangelical teammates who work diligently alongside Team Ufa.

Pray for an expansion of the ESL classes in the new year & that the gospel will be clearly received.
