New Year’s Day
Pray
for IWC prayer walking today, and assisting Grace Church with
invitation distribution for Christmas services. |

The
IWC group will be ministering with an orphanage in Voskresenkso
today & tomorrow – repair work, playing basketball and |

volleyball with the children, doing an informal Christmas concert,
and giving gifts to the kids & the workers. |

Sightseeing, prayer walking & a farewell dinner are on the IWC
agenda today. Ask God for traveling protections. |

Pray
for the safety of Christians in Ufa. This is a time of very high
drunkenness & irresponsibility in Ufa. |

Ask
the Father to glorify Himself in a special way in Russian Baptist
services today.

Orthodox Easter
Pray
for an 11 person team (Lakeview Baptist, Selmer, TN) as they begin
to meet to prepare for an ESL school in March.

Pray
for Peter Zhuk, senior pastor for all Bashkortostan Baptists that he
lead believers into more proactive approaches for repro-ductive
church planting. |

Pray
for the Carr children, about 10 days behind in their home school
studies.
Also
for Eileen as she cares for all 5 children. |

for Chris as he reads 5 books for his directed D. Min. study course
on the field. |

Pray
for God’s provision for Grace Church which may have to vacate their
current location due to higher rent. |

Ask
God for a ground-level apart-ment in the downtown area of Ufa where
Grace Church can meet. |

Ask
for the Holy Spirit’s direction to know when to start Saturday night
English clubs again in Ufa. |

Ask
God to guide Chris, in Moscow doing interviews through tomorrow
related to his D. Min. degree. |

Pray
for meetings between Chris & RBU leadership about a new church start
in the Sipailovo district, including leader,
location & evangelistic biblical studies by Jan. 20th. |

Pray
for Chris, in International World Changer planning meetings in
Prague through the 18th. Ask that the focus would be on
God’s glory. |

Ask
God to guide IWC planning in Prague for future mission trips to Ufa
and the CEE Region. |

Pray
for government leaders, planning the 450th anniversary
(Oct. 11th) of political cooperation between Bashkirs &
Russians, that there would be spiritual input for the sake of the
republic. |

International World Changer representatives will be in UFA through
the 22nd, checking out ministry possibilities for the
summer. |

Ask
God to guide discussions between the IWC & govern-ment workers,
negotiating service project locations for July. |

Pray
for Sergei Datlik, pastor of Light of the Gospel Church, with
serious financial problems, ministering on a small salary.

Pray
that Sergei would have time to properly lead his church & to assist
with church planting attempts in the Sipailovo district.

Ask
God to raise up 6-9 volunteer teams for Ufa for later this year for
ESL, student ministry, sports evangelism, and other work. |

Continue to pray for Victor & Susan Bauer, studying Russian with a
tutor in Moscow. Ask also for spiritual rest for this family.

Pray
for the right apartment for the Bauer’s, so they can move to Ufa
once visa issues are resolved. |

Pray
for Andrei Dzuba & Sergei Intersov, leading 1st Baptist,
Ufa to evangelize, tithe, & study the Bible. |

Ask
that the church (which first met Nov. 5th) would desire
to birth a daughter church as part of their spiritual DNA. |

Pray
for spiritual health for the Carr & Bauer families, that they’ll
rely on the Holy Spirit’s leader-ship (Eph. 6:10-18).

for the Lord’s provision for up to 13 prayer walking teams for a
concerted week of prayer for the city of Ufa in September.

for a 5 person student team (Okla-homa), starting prep-arations for
ministry in Ufa during spring break week in March. |

Ask God to raise up new Ufa team members: Sports
evangelism coord-inator, ESL ministry coordinator, media

closely with Chris. |
