On May 25, Ufa Baptist Church (Ufa’s newest Baptist
church start, itself officially only one year old) baptized six new
believers at a swimming pool in a Russian banya building. It was a
joyous occasion to hear each of the six make public their profession of
faith as new followers of Jesus. This church is going and blowing for the Lord and has plans to start seven new bible study groups this fall, many of them hosted by the new baptized believers themselves who are being trained and empowered to lead their own groups which will become new churches.

We rejoice in this, and ask our prayer partners
to rejoice with us and spread this good news and keep praying that it will
catch fire and be another step in a church planting movement in
Ufa!
