Preparations are well underway for a summer ministry project with volunteers from Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Durham, NC that we pray will impact Bratislava for Jesus.  July 19-31, 2008 Team Bratislava and stateside partners will reach out to young and old alike with a variety of activities including English courses, sports and games, and community work projects.  Please join us in praying that God will open the hearts of Bratislavans so that relationships can be developed and Jesus proclaimed to them.

Praise God for national church planter, Martin and his wife, Olga and their children, Tomas and Jakub, and their new daughter, Natali. Praise God that mother and baby are both doing well. Pray for them as they adjust to having a new addition to their family.

Please pray for VSC team of 17 in Tomsk May 28-June 10, teaching Conversational English in four locations.  Two of these locations have just opened up to us.  Pray also for the Southwest Baptist University faculty and a student going to the Universities  to lecture and dialog with students.

Pray for the many vibrant, passionate churches throughout the Kharkov oblast that have a vision to reach their communities and beyond with the love of Christ.  Ask the Lord to strengthen the pastors, lay leadership, and believers as they go into the fields that are ready for harvest.  Pray that new churches will be "born" in communities throughout the Kharkov region.
